The continuous and cyclic process of construction and expansion of towns and cities carries with it inseparable processes of continuous destruction and reconstruction (See Plan E). As a result of this the implicit need of towns to reuse themselves arises: their uses, facilities, infrastructures and phenomena or processes. The ruins of the future take shape as the rubble of the present.
This workshop will simply consist of a visit to una montaña de escombros (a mountain of rubble) located in the city outskirts, to discover this enigmatic place and the views there are from it of the city of Cáceres. Present, past and future are connected in a strategic point, a perfect viewpoint to observe the city from outside. An ideal context to talk about transformation and growth. A perfect spot to have a picnic, perform a Shamanistic act or for reflection.
