Andrea Sánchez Walmsley
I have a degree in Journalism delivered by San Pablo CEU University. My professional career has taken place in Madrid and has focused on Communications and Hotel and catering domain.
In 2004 I created the catering Business called “La Parra Connection” together with a friend. That very same year, I met my husband, Anders Vinding-Diers, an oenologist and a vine-grower, and my life has done a volte-face.
After living for one year in the countryside in Umbria, Italy, we moved to Extremadura in 2006, where we have created the company “Bodega de Mirabel” altogether and we are marketing the second wine harvest of our Mirabel wine. For the first wine harvest, we obtained 91 points in Peñín Guide and we sold all our production in less than a year. Our wine is marketed at a national and International level.
We have bought a small plot of land in Cañamero where we want to elaborate high-quality biodynamic wines and develop a project of agro-tourism.
