Arantxa Mendiharat (Disonancias)
Since 2005 she is the coordinator of DISONANCIAS, a Pioneer platform to put into contact international artists with industrial and services organizations in order to develop research projects. More than 40 collaboration projects have been organised up to now.
In connection with DISONANCIAS, the International Network of collaboration programmes between artists and research units in science and industry (www.artsactive.net) has been implemented, and it includes projects in Europe, United States and Australia.
She has a degree in political Sciences from the University of Bordeaux; She also has a DESU in Politics and European cultural practices from the University of Paris VIII, and a Master of Science in Cultural Management from Heriot-Watt University of Edinburg.
She is particularly interested in artistic practices related to social transformation processes.
