
Maren Luebcke (TuTech)
Holds a diploma in sociology and business from the University of Hamburg. She worked as a research assistant at the University of Technology in Hamburg at the Institute for Technology and Society, focussing on new media research. Since 2008 she is working for the Department of Interactive Communication at TuTech Innovation GmbH mainly in the field of e-participation. She has submitted her phd on communication structures is online discussion groups. Maren Luebcke started to work in the area of e-participation in 2001 as a research assistant in the DEMOS project. After DEMOS, she did research work from 2003 until 2007 in the field of new media technology and society, focussing on online discussion groups and the blogosphere in political campaigns. In 2008 she had the opportunity to go back to her roots and to join her former collagues at the TuTech. She has published several papers in the field of computer-mediated communication, e-participation and communication theory.
