Isabel León
Isabel León was born in Caceres in 1974, where she is currently living and working. Recently she has almost exclusively centred her work on the art of action, where the process, actual experiences and experimenting become important compared to the final objective. Her work is about self-portrait as a reflection on her own thoughts, feelings or emotions; being indispensable for her, to be totally sincere when it comes to create. She is mainly interested in «feeling» at the action moment; she wants to be affected, to be frightened, to be moved …and in some occasions she uses the audience for that.
