Antonio Camões
He was born and bred in Alentejo (1958) and spends most of his time looking, listening and reading. His great aims in life are the University, research, teaching and the construction of Culture, as programmer, healer, producer and a person who enjoys Culture.
He went to school in Alentejo, Aldeia da Mata and Portalegre and started his university education by studying history in the Faculty of Arts in Lisbon, finishing it in the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. It was here that he finished his degree, specialising in Cultural and Political History; then he did his Scientific and Pedagogical Examinations and doctorate in the History of Ideas, specialising in the History of Social Ideas.
